Devin Maurer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry and Resource Management from UC Berkeley in 2000. He is a screenwriter, banjoist, and founding member of the controversial alt-bluegrass ensemble, 'The Fifth String Amendment'. The band twice received ABMA Song Of The Year awards for 'Keep That Bush Trimmed and Burning' and 'She's Got Bob Marley In Her Pants'. After earning a forestry degree from UC Berkeley, Devin worked as a tree climber and dendrochronologist before plying his trade as a screenwriter. He currently resides in Californa with his two dogs, E-Z and Phelps The Prison Dog.
