ana got a job. yes she did. it doesn't sound pretty, but it's really fun. she swears!
what she does is call members of a variety of state environmental public interest research groups and gets them to renew their memberships and support clean energy projects..ie. cape wind, the proposed wind farm in cape cod.
tonight this one guy spent about 5 mins talking to me about literacy issues in north carolina and how disappointed he was that north carolina was at the bottom of the list. i thought he wasn't going to renew his membership, but he surprised me by telling me that he would renew and increase his contribution because i was so kind to listen to him!
Im jealous of my parents for being in California. How sad is that? >.<
